Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was an athlete and captain for the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold for team events as well as in the floor routines. In the balance beam Raisman received a bronze. She became the first American gymnast of the Olympics with the highest number of medals. As of 2016, she and the teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals at the all-around event and floor exercises. After the 2 Olympics she had taken a break from competitive gymnastics to rest for three months. Additionally, she was part of the gold medal winning American team at two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice when she was two and her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honour of her deceased grandmother. Aly hopes to achieve a prosperous career in the fashion industry. Leotards that she has designed as well as socks, and other clothing will be expanded on in the future. The book she is working on is called Fierce to be published later this year.
